Compact Loop Diver

The CLD1 Compact Loop Driver is designed for counter systems and small area perimeter loop systems. Measuring only 128 x 74 x 35mm and with an output current of 2.4A RMS, the CLD1 is the smallest and highest performance amplifier in it’s class. The ILD14 is a robust loop amplifier providing local area coverage for
installation in any environment, inside or out. The rugged aluminum enclosure is IP65 rated and vandal resistant. It features 3 independent inputs and metal loss correction. Lift Loop Driver

The ILD15 audio induction loop driver is a rugged amplifier primarily for lift applications or other rugged industrial environments. Correctly installed it will provide full area coverage in most lifts to IEC60118-4. The amplifier is constructed of a very robust steel housing, with vibration isolating connections and mountings to protect electronic connections, and is further protected by a 5 year warranty from Ampetronic. The amplifier has 2 independently controlled transformer isolated inputs. The audio system is designed for excellent intelligibility and includes metal loss frequency compensation to correct for the metal structure of the lift car. Battery backup is available as an integral option if required.

The magnetic field strength and distribution in a lift car will be highly
dependent on installation method and the construction of the lift car. It is

Calibrated Measuring Receiver

The CMR3 Calibrated Measuring Receiver is designed for measuring the performance of audio frequency induction loop systems in accordance with the requirements of the international defining standard EN 60118-4.

This standard establishes the target field strength and frequency response of the induction loop system within the usable area.

Tolerances are established for the various parameters. The standard also defines an acceptable level for the interfering background noise, which must be measured.

This receiver is intended to be used as a calibrated probe with audio analysers and measuring equipment, including software based audio analysers running on portable or fixed computers. When used with a suitable signal source and analyser the magnetic field strength, background noise, frequency response and field distribution can be measured accurately.

Loop system performance and losses due to the presence of metal in building construction can therefore be assessed, and the equipment can be set up to satisfy the requirements.

Audio Induction Loop Driver - small area for integration into equipment

The HLS02 is a small area coverage audio induction loop driver built
for the OEM customer for integration into communication systems
such as help points, refuge points, car park barriers and drive throughs.

support. With 2 independent balanced transformer isolated inputs
(low impedance speaker and 100V line), superior sound clarity, metal
loss correction and a range of power supply voltage options, it is the

Audio Induction Loop Receiver

The ILR3 is a high quality audio induction loop receiver which allows the user to listen to an audio frequency induction loop system using a standard pair of stereo headphones (supplied). It has a vertically mounted pick up coil and a low cut filter function to emulate the performance of a hearing aid switched to the T position. It is therefore an essential tool for anyone installing maintaining or managing facilities fitted with induction loops providing them with immediate confirmation that the loop is running. (To measure the performance of an induction loop system, Ampetronics' calibrated receiver CMR3 or field strength meter FSM should be used). In addition, it can be used by anyone without a hearing aid who needs a little extra assistance to hear.

Microphone Pre-Amp, one input

The MP101 microphone preamp was designed for use with Ampetronic Induction Loop drivers, but can be used in other installations as a separate single input preamp. The unit is designed to convert microphones to line-level signals, having a switchable gain of 40dB or 25 dB The preamp has an electronically balanced microphone input, with a professional XLR connector, with switchable Phantom power facility.

Power for the preamp is normally obtained from the host Ampetronic amplifier, but the unit can be powered from a small, separate power supply, Ampetronic type PS3.

Microphone Pre-amp, two input

The MP221 preamp was designed for use with Ampetronic Induction Loop drivers, but can be used in other applications as a separate four input pre-amp. The unit is designed to amplify two microphone channels by a maximum of 46 dB, and two linelevel inputs by 6 dB.

Each channel has an electronically balanced input. Microphone channels use XLR input connectors, with phantom power facility. Balanced line-level inputs use 6.3 mm jack sockets. A gain control is provided for each channel, and the combined output signal is electronically balanced.

Power for the preamp is normally obtained from the host Ampetronic amplifier, but the unit can be powered from a small, separate power supply, Ampetronic type PS3.
